this reason rehearsals are relaxed and friendly. We do NOT hold auditions to join the choir but we do place a high
priority on our members correctly singing their harmony line to ensure AAC maintains a good performance standard.
AAC is not A Capella - we have a piano accompanist who attends both rehearsals and performances with us.
The choir's year is broken into 4 terms, each term consists of 10 weeks of rehearsals. Our fees per term are as follows:
$115 – Standard fee
$95 – Concession* and Honeymoon* fee
$57.50 – Students*
*Concession fee – an option for those on a budget - we’d rather you paid this lower fee than were unable to join in the
fun. Concession Cards NOT required.
*Honeymoon fee - membership fee for your first 6th months with us.
*Student fee - Student card required.
Term fees contribute to the cost of the Musical Director, the accompanist, the rehearsal venue, public liability insurance,
copyright and various other miscellaneous expenses. There is also a one-off $60 payment when you first join. This
contributes to the cost toward the cost of sheet music and CD's. Potential new choir members are welcome to come
along for two weeks just for a look before making a financial commitment.
Rehearsals are at the St Columba's Uniting Church, crn Fawkner and Farrer Sts, Braddon on Monday nights from 7.30
pm to 9pm. Turn off Farrer St into the carpark - the rehearsal hall is to the left of the carpark behind the church. We look
forward to seeing you at our next rehearsal..............
